PETER (PETE) MAZUR 1920 - 2010 Peacefully on July 17, 2010 at the Concordia Hospital, Peter, beloved husband of Irene, passed away with family by his side. Peter is survived by his wife Irene (Visha); sister Ann Soreng; sister-in-law Lil Mazur and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lukas and Agnes; sisters Bernice and Mary, and brother Frank. Pete was born January 10, 1920 in Poland and came to Canada with his family in 1928 settling in Stead, MB. He worked in bush camps, served in the Army, worked for Swifts and after retirement worked as a commissionaire at Revenue Canada. The family wishes to thank neighbours, Nina, Maria and Barbara, the staff at Holy Family Home and Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion towards Peter. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main at Inkster. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
